Concrete Vases

I’m sitting inside and ignoring the weather today, instead dreaming of spring flowers. A few in your house never fails to be cheery.

These vases, from a Thai designer, Decha Archjananun, would sit beautifully on a sideboard and would really offset a intricate flower. I like the way the ones in the picture echo the clean lines of the vase but personally I’d stick a great big girly flower in. Perhaps a nice blooming peony or hydrangea, a real contrast to the hardness of the vases. Concrete is perhaps not the first material you would think of using for a vase, but here it is executed perfectly.

They’re a real statement piece. Added to the daydream list.
