The upside of flathunting is that I can daydream like crazy about all the exciting things we can do when we have a home of our own, and are allowed paint the walls, knock things down and generally do what we like. The downside is that we are looking in London, which means we can only really buy something the size of an envelope. The space issue means that I am increasingly drawn to images and inspiration of clean white spaces to maximise the light and make the most of every square foot.
This house fits the bill perfectly, and is the home of a Danish designer, Brigitte Rabens. Why are the Danes so incredible at making the most of space and natural light? It seems to be in their DNA.
