A light touch

I was tootling through Bloomsbury the other day, taking a shortcut through the backstreets to go and meet my husband for a sneaky lunch break whilst at work when I was distracted by a lovely shop I have never seen before. I had happened across Artemide, the UK outlet of an Italian lighting specialist. As you can see it’s a very stylish shop, housed in a classic London buidling.

Image from Bloomsbury Bytes – take a look if you want to find out a bit more about this beautiful area of London.

I was caught by all the amazing lights I could see through the window. Below is a small selection of their products.

The Eclisse lamp by Vico Magistretti. Image from The White Room. I like this one, I think it looks like an Eskimo.

The Tolemeo lamp by Michele de Lucci and Giancarlo Fassina. Image from Geoffrey Harris

The Nur by Ernesto Gismondi. Images from Light Attack

A most delightful find, and one I will have to go back to soon to add many items to my daydream list.

    • Oh good, I’m glad you like it. I’ve not seen them before, but fell in love pretty quickly!
